I really couldn’t sleep last night, maybe I was homesick or maybe I was thinking about Chris, either way I had to get up at around 8, and eat breakfast in the dining hall. Before I left I put on some quick mascara I don’t care if anyone sees my under eyes or whatever, but they do not need to see these bare eyelashes. I’m not much of a breakfast (or morning) person, so I just had some toast and orange juice.

Then I saw him, he was sitting with the dickhead guys that were hitting on me last night, but fuck them they’re not getting any of this. I looked away even though I felt a little awkward for staring so long but who the hell cares? I scanned the dining hall, some guys there were cute in my eyes, I couldn’t help but sneak a few glances at Chris.

************************************** The day went by surprisingly fast, at around noon me and the same girls from last night (Jennifer, Rose and Anastasia) were all hanging out around the camp, I was wearing a camo tube top and some shorts, with a white bikini underneath just in case I wanted to go swimming again (this time probably with a swimsuit)

I noticed Chris was walking out way, he was alone, and stopped in front of me. “Wanna walk around with me?” He asked, looking me up and down, not being subtle about him checking me out what so ever. “yeah, yeah sure.” I said almost immediately, seeming a little eager.

Once they were out of earshot from anyone, and walking down some random path they found he started asking more questions, this guy was quite the yapper. “How did you sleep last night?” Chris asked as he kicked around a stone as they walked. “Uhm it wasn’t the best, I won’t lie, but I had a headache.” I lied, I most definitely didn’t have a headache unless it’s name was Chris, I seriously couldn’t stop thinking about him last night.

After a moment of comfortable silence he asked “So….uh…what’s your favorite number?” he was still kicking around the stone, I had the slight urge to pick it up and throw it at his head, but I resisted.

“Uh I’d have to say 7, and 182, what about yours?” I asked as we walked, he finally stopped kicking the stone, I looked back up at his fluffy long brunette hair, made me wanna run my hands through it-…oh my god what am I thinking, I was snapped back into reality when he said “Ehhh, I’d have to say 3, and 69.”

I let out a soft laugh, “What?! 3 and 69, why three?” I was genuinely curious now.

“Well 69 speaks for itself, but three cause I’m a triplet, the other two aren’t here this summer though.” Chris answered, running a hand through his hair. “You’re a triplet? That’s pretty cool, honestly, are you all three guys or-“

I was cut off by Chris nodding and saying, “Yeah, all three guys, there’s Matt and Nick, they’re like my absolute best friends, I miss them a lot right now.” he answered, and I noticed a slight blush or sunburn on his cheeks, and nose, whatever it was, it was pretty hot.

*************************************** We walked and talked for what felt like forever, it was soon lights out, and I feel like I honestly got to know him a lot. The information I gathered from him was that: he was from Boston, he had a dog named Trevor, he has three brothers, but I honestly can’t remember their names.

I got a few hours of sleep before I woke up at around three in the morning. I sat in bed for a minute before thinking of things I could do at three in the morning..that’s when I remember a previous conversation Chris and I had.

“You play piano?” Chris asked as we walked around the camp.

“Yeah, I play why?” I asked, discretely taking in his facial features, his sharp jawline and cheekbones, his nose, the small freckles on his nose and his bright eyes.

“Well, next to the library, there’s a small auditorium with a piano in it, I’d go at night though that’s when no one is there. But be careful, it’s kinda loud.” He advised, noticing me taking in all his features.. “See something you like?”

“Shut up..” I said feeling a small blush on my face, so I looked down at the ground hoping he didn’t notice.

*************************************** I made my way to the auditorium, still a little groggy from only waking up around 10 minutes ago. Finally after what felt like ages I got to the small wooden auditorium, it wasn’t in terrible shape, it was lit from the moonlight peering in through the windows, and the light of my flashlight. I made my way to the stage, sitting at the stool that was in front of the piano. Before I played I checked if it was even in tune and to my surprise it sounded pretty good.

I started to play a song I memorized, my hands doing a familiar dance on the keys, my voice hitting the notes I needed, my voice was still a bit quiet in attempt not to get caught.

At the end of my performance, there was a slow clapping coming from the left side of the auditorium, I could only guess who it was…

“I was there the whole time, hope you don’t mind.” Chris said as he walked on the stage, and sat next to me.

“No- I don’t mind- I guess.” I said, my hands hovering over the piano, “No one was really supposed to eat that though.” I said softly as I brought my hands back to my sides.

“I won’t tell anyone, I promise.” Chris said with that same warm smile that made me wanna melt right then and there.

“Good…” I said, a pink blush on my face, hoping he couldn’t see it. He was weirdly giving me butterflies, maybe him being this close, maybe it was just him in general.

“Can I ask a question though?” Chris asked, as he fiddled with his hands seeming nervous, and I nodded my head wanting him to continue.

“Sorry if this is cringey or something but can I kiss you?” Chris asked, still fiddling but now looking down at me, I nodded, wanting nothing more than to kiss him. We both leaned in, our lips met, there was some kinda spark, I mean I’d kissed guys before but not like this. I tilted my head, deepening the kiss, he let out a soft groan as he softly parted my lips, our tongues doing a dance that came naturally.

There was a noise from outside the auditorium, I pulled away, looking out of the dimly lit windows. “What the hell was that?” I asked, a blush and flustered look on my face.

“I’m guessing a counselor.” He whispered, looking in the same direction as me. “Come on there’s another exit in the back.” Chris said as he grabbed my hand and leaded me to the exit. We walked out, it lead us into the woods, he walked til we were sure we couldn’t be seen.

“Where were we?” he asked as he put his hands on my hips, gently pinning me against a tree, he leaned in, and continued the kiss- well it was more making out now…

After a couple minutes I reluctantly pulled away. “Uhm, I think we should really get some sleep, I’ll see you tomorrow, goodnight Chris.” I started walking off after giving him a quick kiss. Walking back to my (most likely) empty cabin. Everyone around here was sneaking out, and most of the time no one found out.

“Goodnight, Y/N, see ya tomorrow.” Chris called after me as I kept walking with an idiotic grin on my face…wow, so it was true, I was falling for the guy at Summer Camp.

In typical dude fashion, Jake prefers more masculine nicknames or terms of endearment, specifically, 'handsome' and 'big guy.' He's not opposed to softer ones, but you'll have to only use those in private unless you want to upset him.

To be fair, he already gets relentlessly teased by his colleagues. Just let him have this, yeah?

As far as nicknames for you, he's waited so long to have his own girl and sweetheart that he sticks with the classics, too. 'Sweets' or 'sweetheart' are the most common. 'My girl' is mostly private and frequently sexual. 'M'lady' is because he's a fucking dork.

Ehhh, Jake is not articulate with the more complicated feelings. He can deal in certainties--how much he wants you or what is attractive about you for him, saying 'I love you' actually ends up being pretty easy, etc.--but when it comes to things that Jake thinks he should feel a certain way about but doesn't, he struggles to say.

Like for whatever reason (because at first he doesn't know the reason), he can't share space very well. He hesitates to spend the whole night. He hesitates to use your bathroom or shower even. He definitely hesitates to move in.

This takes many coaxing conversations to comprehend until finally he confesses that he has so little space to himself when working that his own apartment is a haven in every way. He has complete control of that space. The eventual middle ground is moving into a place big enough for his own office/tech room and his own bathroom. Jake needs a retreat from everything. You are allowed in there, of course. It isn't a part of your home that's off-limits to you, but he's responsible for those areas. Nothing ever moves unless he moves it.

Oh yeah, y'all drink. Nobody gets blind-drunk for the most part, but you have drinks out with friends, with dinner, and most notably, play drinking games.

Jake loves drinking games--as well as strip poker, as discussed here--but gets overzealous and can get very drunk, very quickly sometimes. He's not a lightweight, but it can escalate when he doesn't pay attention to the volume of alcohol he consumes.

Drunk Jake gets handsy and has no tact. He will face-plant into your pussy or motorboat your breasts. This is just a thing you have to live with or preemptively stop him from doing/get him home quickly. There have been incidents of quickies in bar bathrooms because he will not stop grabbing at you or talking about how fucking hard you make him.

Spoiler alert: this is not a quiet man when he 'whispers' dirty things to you OR when he comes while tipsy. You absolutely have to cover his mouth and pray nobody overhears if you're still out and about.

The key thing about Jake is that you feel very safe with him, and that translates to a comfort where you trust you'll be okay even if you go a little overboard yourself. He's attentive. He notices changes in your mood easily. He can sober up super fast if he senses you need help or want to leave.

Ok and this barely has to do with alcohol but Jake has this thing about how romantic it is to be super close on your nights in. If you two are watching a movie together or even playing a video game, your body is against his, either by way of snuggling into his side or sitting between his legs. It's half the fun to hold his controller in his hands right above yours and try to distract you by kissing your neck (or you by wiggling your ass against his lap). I mention this because if you two are gonna sit that close and kiss and share everything, you usually share a drink, too. There's only one beer, or one glass of wine, or one cocktail on the table for both of you. Almost always your choice of drink, he doesn't have a preference usually, but it also creates fewer dishes.

Okay so this is part of the process that I end up making cuz there was a bunch of trial and error in this process because whenever I was doing like the front the front the front and the thing I was getting a little bit confused cuz I was having too many ideas at once and it didn't work out as you think it will but at the end I end up like merging some of those ideas into one and end up looking pretty good that this is the stupidest sketch of how it was looking at the beginning in the terms of the title and stuff

Now the bass that instrument took so long to get it right cuz listen I end up studying technical draw in architecture and if I see something that doesn't have the right perspective I'm killing myself

So of course I was going to get into technical details with creating or drawing the bass

And also in the first parts you can kind of see how it was at the beginning like the colors and stuff trial and error yada yada yada

And I end up making some color arrangements cuz I want this to be bright and stuff and I didn't want this to be pale or look a little bit weird I wanted to have the right contrast

And also talking about contrast you can see the pictures in black and white that's because I wanted to get rid of the contrast and I didn't want something to not pop up right using the wrong colors so that's why there's black and white pictures yes

And also as I know that @aziraphalesbookkeeper favorite color is green cuz I asked that in the ask box I end up placing a bunch of green and several places in the complete piece or the complete render

And also yes the thing that Google was wearing it was going to have some pins with like some flags or whatever and that didn't make up to the end because I was tired and I was lazy and I didn't want to do more things in the jacket

In for the boots I end up searching on Pinterest several things regarding I don't know ehhh Punk boots or something like that and at the end of the day I end up just getting in genshin to look at my wriottesley and admire or have a treaty view of some boots that are similar to the things that I wanted to draw

And also talking about the boots yeah there is not that many things on the boots and I end up getting lazy and tired of drawing details on the boots but it wasn't worth it at the end of the day

And also in the part of Hugo's pants I was thinking into creating like this patches that punk pants end up having with some band names or something embroidered into them cuz that looks cool and I think it matches his personality in some sort of way and I kind of did that it doesn't look that much in contrast with they're saying something his pants but they're there and that's what it matters

Also another little detail in the part of the front I was just searching for several inspiration on rock or metal covers for albums and stuff and I didn't find much of inspiration into that but then I look into some posters and stuff like that and that was just a boost of inspiration and that's why the fronts in the thing end up going from whatever you see on that thing that has like pngs of a scrap of papers and something is already in some kind of text of a chat cuz I remember that in the story both of them end up talking on chat and stuff

On my head it was looking right but then I put it into the actual canvas and it was looking like shit to me so that idea was a scratched and he didn't make it up to the end hehe

And I think that settled it and that's it basically for all maybe I will read all this shit later and find out something that I missed but that's it

well, since i can't really draw or write Arknights stuff because I'm really charged this month, but the brainrot is still very strong, i decided to do a tierlist of my favorite operators!

explanations below the cut

i don't count alters on this tierlist, when I put a character I consider it's them + their alter version; the choice of if I picked the alter or not for the vignette is only based on aesthetic choices, really. also for comprehensive reasons, i tried to put all the related characters next to each other (like how the abyssal hunters are all next to each other)

My most beloved precious blorbos: this one speaks for itself, honestly. operators i absolutely love, that i think about almost on a daily basis, no minded doodles every so often, writing ideas poping up in my mind, big wall of text about how much i like them, autistic thoughts, you know the kind. i just love them very much, simply. originally, saria and ifrit were in the tier just below, since i considered that since i have silence as my favorite character, i did not need to also put them, but i learnt to love them individually rather than for what they represent to silence

Big smooch on their forehead: characters that i know very well the story of, and that I'm really attached! not to the point of being my all times favorites, but who spoke to me to a personal level, or that i used a lot in early game/still use today. i love to read about them and would love to draw or write more about them! justice knight is here as a honorary member

I think they're neat!: i don't know them that well, but i followed them in events, or did a bit of research about them for a reason or another, or simply one of my friends like them! and i do think they're neat, pretty interesting, not the kind i'd be absolutely attached to but i enjoy seeing them regardless :]

I would like to know more about them: feat Abyssal Hunters, the Nearls and Gavial's crew. they are characters i know a little bit about them or they are related to a character i love, but i got too lazy to read their event and files because it's too complicated, or too long, or whatever. but they are characters i know enough about to know i'll appreciate them! so im interested in knowing more about them

I’m honestly so disappointed with how ts ended 😭 - it just felt so lazy… like pretty much since Choso’s death (Not an exact timeframe, this is just how I remember it) I feel like the whole thing has gone down hill.

It feels like Gege has completely lost interest in having a coherent story, not only writing wise, but you can also see a drop in the panel quality art-wise (IMO)

As I said, JJK had such a strong start and middle. I LOVE the culling games arc and I am beyond excited for that to be animated… but I can’t help but feel the ending was lazy.

And to reiterate again, Gege left out a shit ton of stuff… and then him trying to make up for it with 270 which was just a history lesson that no one asked for - a history lesson about 200 chapters too late at that… and with Mei Mei??? Cool ig?

I love JJK with all my heart, don’t get me wrong… but the story is ass 😭

And I can’t help but to compare it to shows like BSD (which, in fairness, is Seinen not Shonen, though I feel like the early seasons of BSD and the current seasons of JJK are pretty comparable… and this is strictly comparing the BSD anime, not manga…. The characters in BSD are so complex - their relationships, their personalities and their actions… we know a good chunk about most characters on the show - and it’s not like it’s ending anytime soon (AS FAR AS I KNOW - could be wrong) so what we don’t know we’ll find out, right??

The power system is decently understandable - to me at least - and the writing does a good job of telling the watcher this, without having to just explain it - like in 270.

My point is- BSD took time in crafting its story, its a monthly manga and there’s 40 or so pages per chapter… and I’d much prefer waiting and getting an in-depth story than whatever the hell this recent chapter was.

Anyway… Honestly I’m still just sad abt Sukuna getting turned into a FUCKING BLOB.

I started writing Schitt’s Creek fic when the fandom was relatively small, so I suspect that accounts for the prominence here. Funny enough, the one OFMD fic in this list is the most recent thing I posted. The stats on that thing blow my mind a little (not that ever do, like, big name fan writer numbers).

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I reply to every one if I can. Sometimes when people binge-read a multi-chapter fic and leave comments on several chapters I find it hard to come up with something to say in reply to all but the last (or specific things mentioned in the comment), but I love when that happens!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Gotta be in a time trap, an efficient little 5+1 not-exactly-a-fix-it OFMD post-S1 timeloop fic where Stede keeps waking up with Chauncey’s pistol in his face.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Skipping the Schitt’s Creek fics, because those are largely happy fluff to begin with… Probably the most uncomplicatedly upbeat happy endings are found in Disruptors and We’re Gonna Live In The Trees.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No one has ever said anything unkind to me on AO3.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Oh, god, I’m fucking TRYING, and it is a TRIAL. It is NOT my default, but it’s personal shit I wanna work on, so. It’s generally not mlm, though ‘an atypical emotional response to common sounds’ is the one exception. Currently pushing myself to improve throughout the t4t tealoranges climate apocalypse fic the way things are going (with deep gratitude to tragic for their support and advice).

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Heh, my first attempt at writing smut was a Schitt’s Creek/The Good Place crossover, Wine Tasting! Eleanor helps Stevie explore her bisexuality as a kind of soul-saving thing (look, I don’t know). I’ve written a few other things that are heavily inspired by other things, or rewrite/twist something into the current obsession (OFMD, always OFMD), but no full-on crossovers.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge. That’d be weird.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nah, though a few have been recorded as podfics. ♥️

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes! Ask Me Anything: A TealOranges SMAU was totally co-authored with @thetragicallynerdy, of course. I also like to say that Kitchen Mistakes & How To Avoid Them was in many ways a collaboration with my friend rose, who was muuuuch more than a beta reader, even if they won’t claim it as such. And oh no I’ve dropped the ball on this (it takes effort) but several pals in one of my group chats were co-writing a silly thing together, Public Relations: An OFMD Celebrity SMAU. I really enjoy collaborating on creative projects and would do it again! Though, uh, probably no more SMAUs. 😂

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

tbh ships in and of themselves are not my main approach to enjoying things, though I realize that’s the structure a lot of fanworks take (including my own). I really do love writing Jim/Oluwande and Ed/Stede. I know, boring ol’ canon ships, but whatever. Those guys can fit all kinds of wild AUs and personal shit!

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Ehhh, honestly, if I abandon a WIP, it’s probably dead. I have at least one thing that might look abandoned because I haven’t updated it since August but I swear it isn’t. Probably. Ennhhh.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I’m good at picturing/researching the setting enough to shade in the details and make it feel real for the story. Dialogue, because I hear it in my head and rewind and play it back and write it down. Internal monologue/complicated feelings.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Oh god, smut. Smut is SO hard. Describing bodies/clothes and probably to a large extent facial expressions, too. Em dashes. Tagging.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I’ve really only done tiny bits of Spanish dialogue in fic. I took Spanish in school ages ago, but have never ever ever been fluent, so it’s pretty minimal and uses reference sites/translation tools to do my best that the phrases make sense in context, etc. If it were more than that, I’d want to confer with someone who’s a native speaker or has a lot of direct cultural experience, but generally I don’t think I’m ambitious enough to try to write outside my own experience in that particular way.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Schitt’s Creek, unless you count what might be considered songfic back when I was obsessed with Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead in high school in the late ‘90s.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Hmm, an impossible question, really. Maybe all that i need is you and the sea (an accidental time travel amnesiac love story told in five parts), because it was perhaps my first experience with something that bananas taking over my head and just flowing out of my brain over the course of several days, and it touches on all kinds of themes and issues and jokes I include in other fics. I learned a lot working on it, too. I just think it’s neat.

#3 what work are you most proud of? I'd say my comics epistolary fic I wrote for 'you gave me a stocking' event for 616 stony discord server. I honestly love how it turned out, their voices coming out in their letters, and the way Steve's letters sound like someone from 40s, or how Tony's sound like he's writing in the 80s. I don't know, I always pat myself on the back when I get a comment on it and end up re-reading it :)))

#18 The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year? hmmm does it count if I never wrote and posted that fic?!!! I have this fic idea, Steve and Bucky are two alphas already married in an omega oppressive, queerphobic government, and one day omega Tony is deposited at their door, because the government has decided that all a/a couples should have babies in a year time. I basically couldn't write Bucky at all. couldn't wrap my head around how his relationship with Steve would be like and I was like ehhh two hard, let's not even try :))))

The Missing Piece (unposted WIP)

It's a perfect Sunday. Steve drags Bucky to the farmers market early in the morning. They buy all the fresh, healthy vegetables that Steve loves. Bucky convinces Steve to sit down for a long lunch after, and orders too much meaty, oily food, the exact things Steve’s trying to make them eat less of.  They go to the art supply store and buy new brushes and some paper. They go to the book shop, and Steve sits down to sketch the flowers outside the window, while Bucky pages through all the new comics, and then they go to that little french pastry place they both really love and grab dessert, with coffee and everything, stretching their feet in the sunlit sitting area in the comfy chairs.  They walk back home hand in hand. Maybe it's all Steve's fault, after all. Maybe he jinxes it all, as he puts down all the shopping bags he's been carrying on their front porch to fish out his keys from his pants pocket, his other hand still held tight in Bucky's hand. Bucky doesn’t even see the yellow sturdy envelope on the entryway floor. No, Steve thinks going down on one knee to read the name of the sender typed in bold. No, no, no, he repeats to himself as he picks up the envelope and stands back up holding it away like whatever’s inside could come out and bite Steve like a poisonous snake.  “What?” Bucky puts down the shopping bags, reaching for the letter. “The Family Ministry? No! What?!" he asks shakily, turning to face Steve. "God, why, no, no—holy fuck!”  They stay there like that, in the middle of their small entryway, each holding one side of a yellow envelope, staring at it.  They haven’t even opened the thing and they’re losing it already.
